Angela "Angie" is an accomplished HR professional with over 30 years of experience and is passionate about implementing human resource strategies and initiatives that strengthen talent at all levels. In her role as Senior Director, People and Culture at Horizons National, Angie is a staff advocate who advances a thriving culture.

Angie most recently served as the Senior Vice President, People Operations at the YWCA Greater Cincinnati with responsibilities for human resources, IT and facilities & maintenance. She previously served as Vice President of Administrative Services at the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio. Angie has a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in human resource management from the Union Institute and University. She has received certification from Xavier University’s Senior Human Resource Management program. 

Angie is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and is a graduate of the Urban League’s African American Leadership Development Program (Class 8) and the Cincinnati Chamber’s Women Excel-WE Lead Program Class 9. Angie has been honored as a YMCA Black Achiever and as a YWCA Rising Star. Angie is married with two sons and five grandchildren. Any left-over free time is devoted to traveling, reading, and biking.
