For more than three decades, Horizons National has grown deliberately and consistently, expanding from one site to a national network serving nearly 8,000 students annually. This growth has been grounded in evidence, rooted in relationships, and focused on the long-term success of the students and communities we serve. Horizons enters this next chapter with a proven model, a talented and seasoned staff, and a deeply committed and diverse Board of Directors whose leadership has shaped the direction and ambitions of these strategic initiatives.

The strategic initiatives build on the solid foundation of Horizons’ first 30 years while preparing our network for the opportunities—and complexities—of the decade ahead. The focus on investing in leadership, strengthening program quality, expanding access, and exploring innovations such as AI and digital tools that can enhance efficiency, deepen learning, and extend opportunities for students and affiliates.
