As we ring in 2022, you might be deciding on a New Year’s resolution. At Horizons National, ours are to 1) Expand Horizons programs to more communities across the country; 2) Engage even more students and families; and 3) Continue to spread the JOY of learning! The best part? We can do it together! You can help by making a donation today, which will be matched 2:1. When we expand Horizons sites, we also see more families, like the Gipp family, championing their own success stories alongside us.
Mr. and Mrs. Gipp are both graduates of Atlanta Technical College (ATC), and now their daughter Nya is attending Horizons at ATC. She started with the program in kindergarten and is now in middle school. She was recognized at Horizons Atlanta’s 2020 Horizons Honors Event, where one student is chosen from each site and honored for their commitment and contributions to their Horizons community. From Horizons at ATC, “Nya is always willing to try and give her very best in everything she does! She is a leader and actively participates during the summer and year round events/activities. During the pandemic, Nya has inspired others by videotaping herself cooking. She shows simple tips to help young chefs in the community. Thank you Nya for helping to be an inspiration, not only to adults but also to fellow students!”
